He's too slow and hideously one footed for that. Not much in the way of work rate either. He's worth keeping though because he's a goal threat.

Not sure what the ginger cunt will have learned from tonight. He either needs to drop a few of tonight's players into our next league loss starting lineup or it's been a pointless excercise.

Did I see somewhere we play Leeds or Hull in next round?

The key to our front line is yarmalenko, he reminds me of bergkamp. Reckon he'd make a very good no. 10 playing behind haller or antonio.

Playing them together is a no brainer for me even if it’s not as 2 up top. Even Haller up top and Antonio out wide would cause team’s problems.

I'd like to see them both playing together

He’s not wrong though, Antonio has his strengths of course, but he is as thick as shit. His decision making a lot of the time is dreadful. But he is an athlete, and he works hard. Haller has a far better footballing brain and makes better decisions but lacks the pace and often the work rate. I’m certain there is a player in him, though.

I'm pretty sure the prejudice against Antonio isn't, in the main, racial.

It's against players bought from "inferior" clubs.

Southall, Devonshire is all I have to say on that score.

Yeah, so 'bang average' that he was voted Hammer of the Year in 2017. Makes you sound a bit of an ignorant twat doesn't it.
Some people seem to hate Michail Antonio so much I begin to wonder if they have some kind of prejudice.

well, the good news is Bother AFC Wimbledon and Oxford United are out of the EFL cup, in fact Oxford had the good manners to knock the Wombles out in the last round before succumbing to Watford this evening on penalties..

Intriguingly both Millwall and The Os are still in the competition, what japes should one of those balls be pulled from the bag against ours.

Most intriguingly would be the O's drawn away to us in front of.........nobody

Alright then Pee Wee son, a SELECTIVE memory, rather than short.

However, I kind of agree anyway as I think we should play both.

Poor opposition but a comfortable result. Defense still caught out at times. Yarmalenko head an shoulders above anyone else tonight for me. He was the creative spark. The rest a bit hit and miss. Anderson seemed to get a boost from scoring but it was too late in the game. Snodgrass seems to have got slower but his delivery is usually good and thats missed when he isn't on. Masuaku made some good runs but often with no end product. Again with our team we are disjointed and don't have a gameplan. Always looking for someone to produce something out of nowhere.

It's a win though and good to see a few youngsters get some time.

Well what to make of that...

Randolph nowt to do and as always good shot stopper but needs good defenders aerially in front of him because he aint ever going to command his 6 yrd area IMO/

Johnson, most disappointing of all for me. End of last season I thought we had the answer to our right back woes. Maybe he is having one of those spells younger players have but he seems to have lost his edge as a defender. Still passes it well and is strong but looks vulnerable now when someone runs at him and allows players to get in behind.

Balbuena and Arfur are simply not good enough.
Diop is too sloppy, lacks the concentration and discipline and overall the aggression and courage to be a top CB at this stage. Will he develop ? Maybe but he seems to regressing at the moment.

Cullen is a great passer of the ball and neat and tidy in possession. Simply looks too small to make it in the premiership and does not have the intensity in his play.

Lanzini is not what he was. Decent like tonight when given a bit of time and space but at 28 his ship has sailed methinks.

Snoddy is 33 and it shows especially after an injury. Good squad man if only hbecause of that left foot he has.

Yamalenko still has something to offer. Can create and do things that make chances etc...

Anderson looks like a bloke who does not want to get injured at any cost and like the rest of the midfield offers little when not on the ball.

Haller, too slow to play up on his own. Needs a partner and is not a natural goal scorer.

In summary, no one made much of a claim to be a regular first team starter. Even the likes of Cresswell and Noble will feel assured of keeping their starting places against Arsenal.

We need better in the following positions a left back, centre back, wide left and central midfield to replace Noble ( that might be Fornals )

Other than that we have a squad that will comfortably stay in the premiership :-(

We wouldn’t be in the Premier League if it wasn’t for Antonio.

Antonio pisses all over Haller.

And then shits on him.

Then two more pisses.

Followed by another shit.

Then a final piss.
